Two Ayyappa devotees killed after cooking gas explodes

BENGALURU: Two Ayyappa devotees died after suffering serious injuries in a gas cylinder explosion that occurred in Hubballi, Karnataka, three days ago. The incident happened due to a cooking gas cylinder leak. Seven people sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment. The deceased Ayyappa devotees had been undergoing treatment at the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences for the last three days.

The other injured people are also undergoing treatment at the same hospital. The accident happened when the cooking gas cylinder used by Ayyappa devotees exploded. Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara had visited the injured people at the hospital the other day.
