The police had registered a case of sexual assault against serial and film actors Biju Sopanam and SP Sreekumar on the complaint of an actress. Gouri says she has nothing to do with the case. "I was not seen in a few episodes of the serial because I was on a trip. I rejoined the serial after coming back. I am there in the upcoming episodes," Gouri clarified.

I have nothing to do with that case. Many people are also asking me why I am not in the episodes and what is the reason. There is no other reason for that. I was on a trip. I have just returned from Shimla. As soon as I came back, I rejoined the serial. I am part of the episodes till 24th. I will be seen in the next episodes if they are airing. That is the case. I am not the actress mentioned in these news. I request you not to create unnecessary controversy. - Gouri said.
