THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Meteorological Department has announced that the temperature in Kerala will be high for the next five days. The temperature may rise by two to three degrees. The highest temperature in the country was recorded in Palakkad district yesterday. 38 degrees. Punalur, Thrissur and Kannur also recorded 36 degrees.
The increase in temperature, combined with humid air, is likely to create hot and uncomfortable weather, requiring vigilance from the public.
High temperatures can lead to serious health issues such as sunstroke, heatstroke, and dehydration. The IMD advises that individuals follow precautionary measures outlined by the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) to mitigate health risks associated with extreme heat.

- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, even if not thirsty.
