Airlines have introduced new rules for passengers. Spirit Airlines, which operates in the US, Caribbean islands, and Latin America, has proposed new guidelines for passengers. The new rules came into effect on January 22.

The new guidelines state that people who are barefoot, wearing inadequate clothing, wearing clothing with offensive and obscene body art or possessing such items, having tattoos that are offensive to other passengers, those who obstruct the work of flight attendants, and those who pose a security threat on board the plane will not be allowed to board the plane or will be removed from the plane. Clothing that does not adequately cover the body, or clothing that is transparent or exposes private parts, is considered inadequate clothing. These matters are clarified in the airline's contract of carriage.

The new law also states that passengers who cause trouble on board, harass others, use drugs, have contagious diseases, refuse to wear seat belts, and smell bad may be removed from the plane. Spirit Airlines currently serves 57 destinations. The airline has bases in several cities, including Atlantic City, Chicago, and Las Vegas.
