THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After the police report in the half-price scam case was not received, the consideration of Saigramam Executive Director K.N. Anandakumar's anticipatory bail application has been postponed to the 27th. This is the second time that the District Principal Sessions Court has postponed the petition.
When the petition was considered yesterday, the Kannur police had not submitted the report. It was initially directed to be submitted on the 13th. Since it was not submitted on that day, it was postponed to the 18th. This is the third time that the court has asked to submit the report. The police are slow in a case in which a fraud of Rs 1000 crore took place across the state.
The anticipatory bail application has been filed with the Kannur SP as the opposing party.
