Three Bangladeshis arrested in Thrissur for illegal entry

THRISSUR: Three Bangladeshi nationals were arrested for illegally entering the district. They were arrested in a search conducted by the Anthikad police in Chemmappilly following a tip-off. Two people who were with them fled seeing the police. The investigation team arrested the three Friday early morning.

The arrested were those working in a scrap shop in Chemmappilly. They did not have any valid documents. When grilled, they told police that they were natives of Kolkata. The Anthikad police are collecting more information about them. The police said further action will be taken later.
