Director and actor Prithviraj has said that he is planning to make a 90-minute documentary about the making of Empuraan. In an interview with Book My Show, Prithviraj shared his desire to make a documentary about the making of Empuraan. 'The making of Empuraan was a challenging one. Empuraan was shot in more than four countries. If there is an opportunity, I would make a 90-minute documentary about the making of Empuraan. This documentary will be helpful to many filmmakers. They will be able to understand a lot by watching that documentary. They will be able to understand what all can be done and what all can't be done through watching it,' Prithviraj said in the interview.
Meanwhile, three minutes of scenes from Mohanlal's film Empuraan have been cut following the controversy. The Central Film Censor Board has given permission for the screening of the re-edited Empuraan. The Censor Board gave permission after holding an emergency meeting despite it being a holiday. It is reported that the re-edited Empuraan will be released in theatres from tomorrow. Earlier, Mohanlal had expressed regret after Empuraan sparked a political controversy and shared a Facebook post. Director Prithviraj also clarified his position by sharing Mohanlal's note.
