Actress Saniya Iyappan says that people give her very negative comments no matter what she wears. If she is photographed in a saree, people say she looks like an old woman and if she wears a bikini, they say she is uncultured. The response was given in an interview given to the YouTube channel I. Am with Dhanya Varma.
"I see comments like 'We'll like this photo only if you wear that dress'. If I wear a saree, they say, 'Oh, you're a 22-year-old, but you look like a 30-year-oldie.' If they see a photo of me in a bikini, they say, 'You got no culture. Don't you have a mother or father at home?'"
Whatever we do, it's a problem on the internet. I don't know what it is, but people have a problem with whatever I do. The comment below the photo of me wearing a saree is, 'You're only twenty-two years old, but look like a thirty-two-year-old wearing a saree. So, should I wear a nightie or a burqa?'" says Saniya Iyappan.
Saniya is an actress who gained public attention through a reality show and later made her debut on the silver screen as the heroine in the film Queen directed by Dijo Jose Antony.
