Shriram Natarajan, aka Sri, is not the boy-next-door anymore as he went through a massive weight loss and turned his hair blonde. He looks unrecognisable from those days of ‘Maanagaram’. In the last few days, Sri has left fans nonplussed over his erratic social media behaviour that involves sharing explicit content. People in the comment section requested the actor to undergo counselling at the earliest after seeing the massive change in his behaviour.
At the same time, many YouTube channels made the most of the news to churn out factoids which the actor’s family denied. Now, famous director Lokesh Kanagaraj has come up with an update on social media.
Lokesh:
“We would like to inform all well-wishers, friends, and members of the media that Actor Shriram is under expert medical care and is currently taking some time off from social media following his doctor's advice. We kindly request everyone to respect his need for privacy as he focuses on his recovery and well-being. Speculation and misinformation can be extremely distressing, and we urge all media platforms, both online and offline, to refrain from spreading rumours or unverified updates about his health. We also appeal to media platforms to remove any objectionable content or interviews based on his current condition and to respect his personal space as he focuses on recovery.
We do not endorse any views expressed by certain individuals in interviews and deny the same completely. We thank you for your continued love, support and understanding during this time”
Lokesh, before climbing the ladder of popularity, directed ‘Maanagaram’, which created waves in the industry.
In the meantime, there were rumours of Sri suffering from 'schizophrenia' while some others said the lack of opportunity had pushed him into depression. Few others brought the theory of the actor not being paid enough for his role in the movie ‘Irugapatru’, which the producer denied outright.
