Pakistan has violated ceasefire agreement, India retaliates; Pakistan's action is deplorable, says Foreign Secretary

NEW DELHI: India has accused Pakistan of violating the recently agreed-upon ceasefire agreement, stating that the neighbouring country has disregarded all prior understandings. The allegation was confirmed by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who stated that the Indian military has been directed to deliver a strong response.

Addressing a press conference, Misri described Pakistan's actions as "deplorable" and urged the country to behave responsibly and grasp the seriousness of the situation. He added that the current developments along the border are in direct contradiction to the ceasefire commitments.

Attack in Jammu: The army has confirmed that a firing incident occurred in Nagrota, Jammu, injuring one person. The firing targeted a military base in Nagrota.

No Violation, Says Pakistan: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister claimed that there was no ceasefire violation.
