Actor Shine Tom Chacko's escape from a hotel in Kochi and his questioning in a drug case were recently in the news. The actor was taken to a drug rehabilitation centre. Shine Tom Chacko has clarified that he often asks everyone if he has changed.

Didn't the same happen with Vedan now? If I want to get better, I have to fix it myself. There is no point in going forward like this. That is why I asked to take me to the rehabilitation center. If we want treatment, we have to get treatment. Even after that, when I come back, I see comments like "pothead has come". The doctor has already said that there will be no great reception if I go out. I will hear more such comments. I should not get angry at that. It is our need to change.'

"My mother was checking the matrimonial for me to get married again. I asked the doctor if it was okay to date. He said no dating for two to three months. I would get emotionally attached quickly," the actor said.
