14-year-old boy wonder shocked cricket world; Suryavanshi bows down to touch the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi

PATNA: Rajasthan Royals' 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the boy wonder who has shocked the cricket world with his brilliant performance in the 2025 IPL. Although Rajasthan Royals could not qualify for the IPL final, Suryavanshi is still the talk of the town for his 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans.

Now, Suryavanshi and his family have got the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Bihar airport. The Prime Minister met the young cricketer and his family at the Patna airport. Modi praised Suryavanshi's performance. The Prime Minister wished Vaibhav for his talent in cricket and many more achievements in the future, and also shared pictures of him with Vaibhav's parents on X. In his Mann Ki Baat speech, Prime Minister Modi had already praised the astonishing achievement of the 14-year-old.

Suryavanshi, who played for Rajasthan Royals this season, is one of the best players in the tournament. Although he scored 252 runs in just seven matches, it was his brilliant century against Gujarat Titans in Jaipur that shocked the cricketing world. Batting with maturity beyond his years, Suryavanshi scored 101 runs off 38 balls. Suryavanshi is the youngest player in men's Twenty20 cricket. Suryavanshi's century is the second fastest in IPL history.
