'It was Sibin who first talked to my daughter about our relationship, this is how she reacted'; marriage will take place this year itself, says Arya

Former Bigg Boss contestants Arya Babu and Sibin recently took to Instagram to announce their engagement, sharing the happy news with their fans. Although the couple initially kept their wedding date under wraps, Arya has now revealed in an interview that the ceremony is expected to take place this year, most likely during the Malayalam month of Chingam (August–September).

Arya mentioned that it was Sibin who first spoke to her daughter Khushi about the relationship. “Sibin told me that if Khushi didn’t approve, we should drop the idea altogether," she recalled. "To this day, I don’t know exactly what he said to her, but she came into the room with a big smile and gave me a thumbs up. When I asked her about it, she simply said it was a 'Daddy–Baby secret'. The two of them make an incredible team. He probably just asked her directly if he could marry her mom. Sibin proposed to me in front of everyone, and Khushi was the one who helped him plan the whole thing. In fact, she shouted 'yes' even before I could respond."

Arya also stated that she continues to share a good friendship with her ex-husband. She clarified that their separation happened after both realised they weren’t compatible. “I’m not a single parent—I co-parent my daughter,” she said. Arya also added that she consults her ex-husband on all matters concerning their daughter.
