TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is going to Russia following the US attack on nuclear facilities. Araghchi announced that he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday. Araghchi said that he is going to Russia for serious and decisive talks. Iran has warned that the US bombing of its nuclear sites has broken the path of negotiations and could jeopardize the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Iran has called for an emergency Security Council meeting and for the Atomic Energy Agency to take action on the attacks. The International Atomic Energy Agency will hold an emergency meeting. Initial reports indicate that there is no nuclear radiation at the sites of the attacks. The GCC countries and the GCC bloc have expressed concern over the incident.
Meanwhile, former Russian Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev claimed that many countries are ready to supply Iran with nuclear warheads. He also stated that the United States has started a new war with its attack on Iran. "The US attack did not cause any significant damage to Iran's nuclear facilities. The attack did not affect the infrastructure. The current nuclear enrichment activities here will continue and in the future, it will lead to the production of nuclear weapons," Medvedev added.
