The goal of Sree Narayana Guru, the one who influenced a whole era, was the goodness and unity of humanity. He devoted his life and health to spreading that message throughout the world in the light of knowledge. Gurudeva's vision and messages are timeless. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's words that a developed India will now be through Gurudeva increase the relevance of those messages in the present and the hope for the future. Inaugurating the centenary celebrations of the Guru-Gandhiji meeting in Sivagiri in the national capital, the Prime Minister reminded that many crucial decisions of the central government are based on Gurudeva's messages.

Gurudeva is a guide for those who serve the country and society. Gurudeva's convictions were unity, equality, truth, service, and good character. Modi also revealed that the government has adopted the slogan 'Development for All, with All' based on this. The Prime Minister's words that Guru's vision is crucial on the path to becoming the world's third-largest economy are reminiscent of Guru's visions of development and peace. A century ago, when Mahatma Gandhi visited Gurudeva in Sivagiri, the country was struggling for freedom and equality. The meeting with Guru influenced and changed many of Gandhiji's thoughts. This meeting also helped to convince Gandhiji of the struggle against untouchability and bad customs. When the Prime Minister, who is ruling the country, points out after a century that the greatest treasure that humanity has received is the ideals of Guru, the relevance of that historic gathering is enhanced.

Modi also mentioned that he has a deep connection with the Sivagiri Mutt. The Prime Minister said that the philosophy of one caste, one religion, one God for man is the foundation of India's civic morality, which needs to be expanded to the global level. The efforts of the Sivagiri Mutt, which is celebrating the bright moments of Guru's life in a big way, are commendable. The sanyasis led by Swami Satchidananda, President of the Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham Trust, the Sree Narayana movements in Delhi, other organizations and various leaders actively participated in the centenary celebrations held in Delhi.

The World Parliament of Religions held by the Sivagiri Mutt in the Vatican became a historic event. When the peace messages of Christ and the one-world vision of Guru converged on Vatican Hill, it gave a new sense of direction to the world itself. Similarly, the centenary celebration of the Guru-Gandhi meeting held in the national capital also gives new hope for world peace. Such celebrations will be useful in introducing Mahatma Gandhi and the great Guru and their path of action to the new generation and in conducting comparative studies. That great vision and words will spread like light on their own. No one will be able to stop it. The peaceful fragrance of the meeting of Guru-Gandhi, like two mountain peaks, will radiate for centuries to come.
