BENGALURU: Police have arrested a techie for allegedly recording visuals inside a women's restroom using a mobile phone. The accused, Nagesh Swapnil Mali, a Senior Associate at Infosys, was reportedly caught red-handed by a female colleague at the company's Bengaluru office.

The incident came to light when the woman noticed Nagesh acting suspiciously near the restroom area. On closer observation, she found him recording videos on his phone. She immediately alerted nearby staff members and detained him. Following this, human resources personnel intervened and checked Nagesh’s phone, where they found the footage. The videos were deleted in the woman’s presence.

Upon being informed, police arrived at the scene and took Nagesh into custody. During the investigation, it was confirmed that the video had been deleted from the phone. Authorities suspect that he may have recorded similar content involving other women in the past. The suspect’s mobile phone has been seized and sent to a forensic lab for a detailed examination. The investigation is ongoing.
