TOKYO: The prediction that Japan would face a major disaster at 4.15 am on July 5 had the world on edge. The prediction was based on the 2021 book 'The Future I See' by Ryo Tatsuki, also known as 'Japan's Baba Vanga', who predicted the 1995 Kobe earthquake and the 2011 Tohoku tsunami.

With Ryo presaging danger, many tourists from across the world cancelled their trips to Japan during the first week of July. The recurring small earthquakes in different parts of Japan during the last few days added to the mystery as many believed Ryo could not go wrong after all.

However, on July 5th, Malayali youngster Rameez made an announcement through an Instagram video at 7.35 am from Japan.

“Look at the roads in Japan. Everyone is sleeping soundly. I am going to work. It is 7.35 am. It is time to go to work. Nothing has happened yet. I am alive. Alhamdulillah. Thank you to all the people who raised concerns over my safety.” Said Rameez.
