'Did 'Paleri Manikyam' only for director Ranjith'; actress Shweta Menon opens up

Paleri Manikyam:

I did the film Paleri Manikyam only because the director Ranjith insisted on it. He told me how my face popped into his mind while writing the character Cheeru. Similarly, when I was doing the film Salt and Paper, not many had any hopes for the film. But I sensed a change and was sure that something great was going to happen with this movie. I did that film with great confidence.

Miss India contest:

I have been closely associated with Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen in the Miss India competition. Aishwarya Rai and I lived in the same room. But I liked Sushmita Sen because she carried a different charm.

About dieting:
