CRPF constable kills live-in partner for her derogatory remarks against his mother

AHMEDABAD: A CRPF constable has been arrested for murdering a woman cop, his live-in-partner. The incident happened at Kutch in Gujarat. The dead is Arunaben Natubhai Jadav (25), serving as assistant sub inspector (ASI) at Anjar Police Station in Kutch. CRPF constable Dileep Dangchia has been arrested in the incident. After committing the murder, he waked into Anjar police station and confessed to the murder.

On Friday night, a verbal dispute broke out between the two at their house in Anjar. Arunaben made some derogatory remarks about his mother in between the fight. In a fit of rage, he strangled her to death. The accused posted in Manipur was in a long-term relationship with Arunaben and had planned to get married. The two met via Instagram since 2021 and have been living together since then, said the police.
