SHARJAH: The body of Vipanchika, who died in the UAE, will be brought to Kerala tomorrow. The embalming will take place tomorrow at 10 am. The body will then be brought to Kerala on a flight at 5.40 pm.
Vipanchika, a native of Keralapuram, Kollam, and her child were found dead in Al Nahda, Sharjaha, a few days ago. Vipanchika's mother Shailaja and her family had levelled allegations against Vipanchika's husband Nitheesh and his family for Vipanchika's death. Vipanchika was working in the HR department of a private company. Nitheesh is also in Sharjah.
The body of Vipanchika's daughter Vaibhavi was cremated in Sharjah. The funeral was held at the New Sonapur Cemetery in Jebel Ali. Both families attended the funeral. The funeral was held according to Hindu rituals. Vipanchika's husband Nitheesh wanted Vaibhavi's body to be cremated in the UAE as he had a travel ban.
It was after the Indian Consulate held discussions with the family that it was decided to bring Vipanchika's body back to India and cremate Vaibhavi's body in the UAE. Vipanchika's family agreed to the request of her husband's family to cremate the child's body in Sharjah. The decision was made to avoid the funeral being delayed indefinitely due to a dispute.
