THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first prize of Rs 10 crore in the Kerala State Lottery’s Monsoon Bumper draw has been bagged by ticket number MC 678572. The draw was conducted on Friday afternoon at Gorkhi Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. The winning ticket was sold by Payyannur-based lottery agent P.B. Rajeevan.
Priced at Rs 250, the Monsoon Bumper offers multiple prize tiers, with the top prize of Rs 10 crore followed by five second prizes of Rs 10 lakh each, five third prizes of Rs 5 lakh each, and five fourth prizes of Rs 3 lakh each. In addition, there are numerous smaller prizes starting from Rs 5,000 down to Rs 250.
This year, 34 lakh tickets were printed for the bumper draw, of which nearly 31 lakh tickets were sold by noon on July 19. Sales figures indicate strong demand, with 7.56 lakh tickets sold in Palakkad, 3.74 lakh in Thiruvananthapuram, and 3.35 lakh in Thrissur districts.
