NEW DELHI: The Centre and the opposition locked horns in parliament over the four-day military standoff between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. A heated debate is underway in Parliament on Operation Sindoor. Union Home Minister Amit Shah responded fiercely to opposition doubts about India outshining Pakistan in the standoff.

“With the killing of the hardened terrorists, we thought everyone would be happy. However, our calculations went wrong as the opposition seems to be sad with the news.” Said Amit Shah.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address Parliament at 7 pm today to participate in the debate on Operation Sindoor.

Union Minister confirmed that the three terrorists, confirmed to have masterminded the Pahalgam attack, were murdered in a joint mission conducted by the CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police. The union minister also said that the zero terror plan was implemented in the Kashmir valley. Amit Shah put forward the forensic results of the machine guns recovered from terrorists to back his claims.

Shah harangued Congress's handling of terrorist attacks during their time at power and even specifically pointed out how Salman Khurshid batted for terrorists after the brutal Batla House encounter in 2008.
