Parcel from Gujarat explodes at post office

PATHANAMTHITTA: A parcel has exploded at the post office. The incident took place this morning at the Elamannur post office in Pathanamthitta. An explosion happened and smoke was seen rising when the cover was sealed at the post office. The parcel that exploded had arrived from Gujarat via a private courier company.

The parcel contained pellets used in air guns. This is what exploded. Following the incident, the police reached the spot and conducted an inspection. It is reported that no one was injured in the explosion.
