KOCHI: A 38-year-old youth had died after poisoned by his girlfriend at Cheladu near Kothamangalam. It has now been found that the woman identified as Adheena mixed paraquat herbicide in Red Bull to murder her male friend Ansil in Kothamangalam. Cans of Red Bull were recovered from her house. The murder was after knowing his consumption of Red Bull. The police also said that no one helped Adheena in committing the crime.
Adheena has confessed to all these things. The police had earlier found that he was killed by giving him herbicide. Not only the cans of Red Bull, other crucial evidences were obtained from her house. The police also said that she had planned the murder for nearly two months.
She had decided to kill him on July 30. Adheena repeatedly invited him home. However, Ansil refused her invitation and then blocked her number. With this, she called her friend and brought Ansil home through him, the police said. No one helped Adheena to destroy evidence. She also damaged the CCTV installed at her house, alone. All evidence collection procedures have been completed. She will be produced in the court soon.
Police had earlier said financial disputes and getting a new boyfriend were behind her decision to eliminate Ansil. Some of her relatives said that Adheena, who made love a hobby during her college days, was close to many youths. She had filed a police complaint alleging that her boyfriend had attacked her with a blade during her college days.
