Two killed, four injured in car-ambulance collision in Thrissur

THRISSUR: Two people were killed in a collision between an ambulance and a car. The accident happened at Kanipayyur in Kunnamkulam. The ambulance which was carrying a patient from Thrissur to Kunnamkulam collied with the car from Kunnamkulam. There were six in the vehicles that met with the accident. The patient in the ambulance and one in the car are the two dead. They have been identified as Kunhiraman of Kannur and Pushpa of Kunnamkulam.

The speeded car collided with the ambulance while overtaking an auto. In the impact, the ambulance overturned. The front portion of the car has been completely damaged. The injured has been shifted to hospitals nearby.
