KOZHENCHERRY: The police have intensified their investigation into the incident of a couple in Koipuram barbarically torturing youngsters at their house in a purported act of revenge. The police had arrested Jayesh (30) and his wife Rashmi (25), natives of Kuravankuzhy, in the incident.

Though it is doubtful that the attack was in revenge for Jayesh's colleagues at his workplace in Bengaluru, maintaining an illicit relationship with Rashmi, mysteries remain. The police suspect that there are more victims of the couple's deranged entertainment. As of now, no youngster has come out with a complaint for fear of possible embarrassment. The couple will be taken into custody for a detailed investigation.

The victims used to engage in sex chats with Rashmi. Jayesh found this out and was furious at his wife for breaching trust. However, they talked and settled the matter for good, but Jayesh wanted to seek revenge on his friends for breaking the boundaries. He even feared that the youngsters had private photos of Rashmi with them. He later used Rashmi to persuade the youngsters to visit her and thus planned an attack.

Ten visuals of torture were recovered from Rashmi’s phone. Scenes of stapling young men's genitals, inserting a needle under their nails, and acting out sex scenes are in Jayesh’s phone. Efforts are being made to open the secret folder with the help of the cyber cell.
