‘I don't have any proofs, issue is between district secretary and Shafi’, not a party in it’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former minister A K Balan said that he is not a party in the allegation of CPM Palakkad district secretary E N Suresh Babu against Shafi Parambil MP. Suresh Babu may have evidences to prove the allegations. As I don’t have anything, I am not raising anything, Balan told media.

‘People having evidence levelled the allegations. If I had one, I would also have raised. The issue is between the district secretary and Shafi. I am not a party in it,’ clarified Balan.
E N Suresh Babu had stepped forward levelling serious allegations against Shafi Parambil. He said Shafi is headmaster of Rahul Mamkootathil to issues concerning women and that if he sees beautiful women, he will invite them to Bengaluru.

Who is the headmaster? It was Shafi Parambil, who brought him from Pathanamthitta to make him an MLA. I challenge Shafi. Will he openly say that he does not approve Rahul’s acts and demand his resignation? He will not as it is a joint business. It is said that more than Rahul, he himself directly approaches people. I won’t reveal details now.’

Responding to it, Shafi said that he had personally attacked me and is considering legal action. The Congress has filed a complaint against Suresh Babu in the incident. Congress Block General Secretary Pramod filed the complaint with the district police chief.
