A recent video of actor and mimicry artist Ullas Pandalam has been widely discussed on social media. In the video, Ullas appeared frail, with limited mobility in his limbs. He was seen walking with the help of crutches, following a stroke that severely affected his health.
Ullas himself revealed that he had suffered a stroke, adding that only a few close family members were aware of his condition. Recently, a jewellery business owner extended financial support to the actor, presenting him with a cheque of Rs 1 lakh as a gesture of assistance.
Lakshmi Nakshatra, a TV host and close friend who accompanied Ullas, said, “Even if it seems like a small amount to you, sir, Rs 1 lakh means a lot to us.”
The video of Ullas quickly went viral, with fans and well-wishers expressing concern and wishing him a speedy recovery. However, some social media users also made insensitive remarks, linking his current situation to the tragic death of his first wife.
Ullas Pandalam, who rose to fame through popular television mimicry shows, has also appeared in several Malayalam films, including Kuttanadan Marpappa and Visudha Pusthakam.
