‘War in Gaza is over, Jews, Muslims and Arabs happy,’ announces Trump

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump said the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza is over and everyone is happy. The US president's response was before leaving Egypt for a peace summit. ‘War is over, you understand that. This is going to be a very special time. Everybody’s cheering at one time. This has never happened before. It’s an honor to be part of this peace agreement,' Trump said.

'Whether it’s Jewish, Muslims of Arabs, everyone is happy. They see everyone as one. After landing in Israel, we will go to Egypt. We are going to meet all leaders of the very powerful and big countries and very rich countries. They are all partners in this agreement,' Trump clarified. Trump's argument is that whether it is Israel or Hamas, they are tired of fighting.

Hamas has announced that it will release the remaining Israeli hostages. According to the US peace plan, Hamas must release the hostages by 2:30 pm Indian time today. Israel will also release 1,950 Palestinian prisoners. The bodies of 28 hostages will be handed over in stages. The body parts of some have not yet been found. Israel will hand over the bodies to their families after forensic examination. Israel has announced that it will then destroy Hamas' underground tunnels in Gaza.

Israel, which implemented a ceasefire in Gaza on Friday, had withdrawn its troops from certain areas. At the same time, trucks carrying humanitarian aid began entering Gaza. Bulldozers began removing the rubble of collapsed buildings in northern Gaza.
