ABU DHABI: An Indian created history by winning the UAE's biggest lottery prize of 225 crores (100 million dirhams). Anil Kumar B has won the first grand prize of the UAE lottery 'Lucky Day'.
More details about the winner will be released after the verification process is completed. However, there is also a suspicion that Anil Kumar could be a Malayali. The tax-free prize money will be kept in a special account until the winner requests it. The prize money will be paid within 30 days of the request.
Anil Kumar B is the only person to win the grand prize of 100 million dirhams in the 'Lucky Day' lottery game. It is managed by The Game LLC, an operator based in Abu Dhabi. The lottery's live draw is held every Saturday. Only UAE residents aged 18 and above are allowed to participate in the game. They must be in the UAE on the day of the draw. The ticket price is 50 dirhams. Three winners received 100,000 dirhams each and 67 people received 1,000 dirhams each. 7,067 people won a prize of 100 dirhams.
