IDUKKI: Union Minister Suresh Gopi mocked Education Minister V Sivankutty. He said let a well-educated education minister come to Kerala. Suresh Gopi's mocking remark was during the Kalunk debate at Vattavada in Idukki. Now we have a minister who always makes fun of me. All of them should go out and let a well-educated education minister come, said Suresh Gopi.

The union minister's response was when the locals demanded an English medium school in Vattavada. Suresh Gopi said the state education minister we have now always criticizes me and we should not expect any English medium school from him. Minister V Sivankutty had many times responded against Suresh Gopi. His remarks against Suresh Gopi were via Facebook posts.

One person had yesterday tried to stop Suresh Gopi's vehicle in Kottayam and submit a request. The person tried to stop the union minister’s vehicle while he was returning after completing the Kalunk debate at the Pallickathodu bus stand grounds. Shaji of Kalladampoika stopped the minister’s vehicle.

When the vehicle was coming, the man who was standing on the side of the road ran towards the side where Suresh Gopi was sitting and then moved forward and stopped the vehicle. He had some papers in his hand and demanded to accept it. However, Suresh Gopi was not ready to open the door or get out of the vehicle.
