Class 10 student dies in bike accident in Thiruvananthapuram, father seriously injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A tragic road accident in Aryanad in Thiruvananthapuram claimed the life of a class 10 student on Saturday. Ansy (15), daughter of Bineesh of Cherukulam, died in the incident. The accident took place near Kannankaramozhi in Aryanad at around 12 noon today. The incident happened when Ansi was returning home with her father, Bineesh, after class.

A bullet heading from the Vellanad direction hit the scooter driven by Bineesh. Ansy, who was pillion riding, died on the spot. Bineesh has been admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram with serious injuries. The dead body is kept at the Aryanad government hospital. After the inquest proceedings, it will be sent to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College for a post-mortem.
