
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The third Vande Bharat Express for Kerala was inaugurated on Saturday morning. Soon after, BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar announced that the next goal is to extend the Vande Bharat service from Bengaluru to Thiruvananthapuram. He shared the message through his Facebook page.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving the Ernakulam–Bengaluru Vande Bharat service. He also mentioned that plans are being made to start suburban and MEMU train services to ease the difficulties of daily commuters in the Thiruvananthapuram region.

I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ji for quickly approving our request for the Ernakulam–Bengaluru Vande Bharat service. The next step is to extend this service up to Thiruvananthapuram.
In addition, there are plans to introduce suburban and MEMU services to solve the travel issues of daily commuters in the capital region. Infrastructure development not only paves the way for progress but also makes people’s lives more comfortable. With every new project, we are moving closer to the goal of a developed Kerala.
