KANNUR: Congress released an audio message indicating that CPM activists threatened BLO Aneesh George, who committed suicide the other day. DCC President Martin George released an audio message in which Aneesh himself reveals that the CPM threatened him, demanding that the UDF booth-level agent be excluded from distributing SIR forms.
Martin George alleged that former branch secretary Chandran went with Aneesh to distribute forms to households instead of Rafeeq, who was appointed by the CPM. He also clarified that on another day, DYFI leader Pramod accompanied Aneesh.
The DCC president also released audio evidence of Aneesh telling UDF agent Vysakh not to come with him to distribute forms. In the audio, Aneesh can be heard requesting Vysakh not to come, while saying that he would tell the reason behind it later.
Aneesh, a native of Ettukudukka and a peon at Kunnaru AUP School, had informed senior officials that he could not bear the workload. Aneesh was found hanging in his bedroom when the family returned from church around 11 a.m. on Sunday.
