Newborn baby abandoned found guarded by stray dogs

KOLKATA: A newborn baby was found guarded by stray dogs in the street. The incident happened at Nadiya in West Bengal. The dogs were found guarding the baby the entire night born a few hours ago. Someone abandoned the baby outside the latrine at the colony of the railway employees.

The dogs stayed around the baby without barking or even touching. Hearing the cries of the baby, the local residents came and saw the baby being guarded by the dogs. The dogs left when they arrived. They then rushed the baby to the hospital. The doctor informed that the baby has not sustained any injuries. The police have filed a case and started an investigation.
