Seizure while doing work; Keezhsanthi dies after falling into temple well in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The keezhshanthi ( assistant priest) of Agneeshwara Mahadevar temple in the Ramavarmapuram Gramam a.k.a Puthen Theruvu in Attakulangara died tragically after falling into the temple well on Saturday.

S. Navaneeth Krishnan (19) of ASRWA 68, Ayyavadhyar Street, died in the incident. Yesterday (Saturday) at 6.30 am, he had a seizure while drawing water from the well for puja purposes. There was about six feet of water in the well, which is 22 feet deep and one and a half meters wide. The fire force and locals rushed him to a private hospital, but his life could not be saved. Navaneeth is a first-year graduate student. He used to frequent the temple every morning to do priestly works and other chores before going to study. Father: Sreenivasan Potty. Mother: Sasikala.
