Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan pays last respects to Mohanlal's mother Santhakumari

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan paid last respects to actor Mohanlal's mother, Santhakumari. The Kerala chief minister arrived at the actor’s residence in Mudavanmugal, Thiruvananthapuram, after inaugurating the 93rd pilgrimage meeting at Varkala Sivagiri.

A. A. Rahim MP, CPI leader Pannian Ravindran, former minister Antony Raju and others were at the residence to pay their last respects. Directors Major Ravi, Priyadarshan, B Unnikrishnan, producer Antony Perumbavoor and film stars Sona Nair, Joju George, singer MG Sreekumar and others also came to pay their last respects.

G. Santhakumari (90) passed away on Tuesday at 1.35 pm at Mohanlal's residence 'Sree Ganesh' in Elamakkara. She had been undergoing treatment for age-related ailments for a long time.
