PATHANAMTHITTA: Complaint of Police brutality during New Year event. DJ artist Abhiram Sundar said that the police entered the stage and broke his laptop. He revealed this through his Instagram page. The incident took place during an event held in Pathanamthitta last night. Abhiram Sundar has also shared the footage of the policeman entering the stage and booting the laptop.

Abhiram says about the incident:

I bought a gaming laptop for DJ with a lot of desire and hard work. It cost about one lakh rupees. Now the Kerala Police has turned it into this as a New Year's gift. What can regular people like us do? It was they who destroyed it. How can we complain to them?

An event was held in Pathanamthitta as part of the New Year. The organisers said that permission had been obtained for the event. There was a delay in starting the event. So the time permitted had passed, but I didn't know that. So, while the show was going well, a policeman came near the stage. We stopped the DJ as soon as we saw this policeman coming, but another policeman who came to the stage was kicking the laptop with his foot. It was the laptop I was carrying so safely. He kicked my laptop even after I stopped the music. It was a very sad time.
