'The man everyone loves, my good friend'; Sivakarthikeyan confirms popular Malayali actor's role in 'Parasakthi'

Sivakarthikeyan's "Parasakthi" is all set to reach theatres on January 10th.

The film's promotion event was organised in Kochi the other day. Sivakarthikeyan, who appeared at the event, also revealed a surprise. According to the Tamil superstar, Malayali actor Basil Joseph will be appearing in his movie.

“The man everyone loves, my dear friend, is in Parasakthi. I got close to him during the shooting of the film. Even after filming his part, he remained in Sri Lanka for another three days. It was too much fun,” said Sivakarthikeyan.

Sree Gokulam Movies had acquired the Kerala distribution rights of Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara. Ravi Mohan is the antagonist in the film, which will hit the theatres as a Pongal release. The film, which is set as a period drama, features Atharva and Sivakarthikeyan as brothers. Telugu actress Sreeleela is the heroine. This is Sreeleela's Tamil debut film.
