Worked as Rapido driver for four days, part-time; rider gives breakdown of earnings he received

BENGALURU: The number of people working part-time is increasing in our country too. There are many people working in Swiggy and Rapido. Many people are sceptical about how much money they can earn through such part-time work. A man from Bengaluru has revealed how much money one can earn by working as a Rapido driver.

The man revealed his income on Reddit. The man opened up about his income with the title 'Rode as a Rapido Captain in Bangalore for 4 days (part-time, mostly night rides)'.

The man explained that this job will be useful for people who need short-term or emergency cash. 'I worked as a Rapido bike captain in Bengaluru for four days, only part-time. The man explained that he started the rides after 10 pm, riding a bike that gets a mileage of 45 km.

He rode about 200 km. He revealed that he worked for 17 hours over four days. The man added that he got Rs 750 for a five-hour shift on the first day.

'Not saying it’s amazing money, but for short-term or emergency cash, riding Rapido part-time (especially nights) is reasonable if you already own a bike,' says the man.
