After the massive success of the national winning ‘Soorarai Pottru’, Sudha Kongara is back again with ‘Parasakthi’. The movie starring Sivakarthikeyan was set to clash with Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’, but the late censor hurdle resulted in Parasakthi dominating the theatres without a competitor on Saturday. Let us hear from the Kerala audience on whether the movie matched its hype. Malayalam actor Basil Joseph has played a cameo in the movie.

  • Malayalees should come and watch this film. The content is good, but it is sad that there is no big rush in Kerala.

  • Fewer emotional moments and not at all a mass movie. The movie lags for most of its parts. Basil has performed well. I personally couldn’t get an emotional connection.

  • Not a peak movie experience, but watchable.

  • Sivakarthikeyan was smart in his role. Overall, a good film.

  • It is a good movie, but Sivakarthikeyan has bitten off more than he can chew. The movie would have gone to another level if Suriya had performed the protagonist.

  • The movie carries relevance to the present-day politics of India.
