Three including eight-year-old child killed in bus-lorry collision in Kottayam

KOTTAYAM: Three people were killed in an accident after a KSRTC bus and a car collided on the MC Road. The accident happened Monday morning at 11 am on Monippally Junction. The car rammed onto the bus after losing control. There were five people in the car. The dead have been identified as Suresh Kumar of Neendoor Pravattom, his wife Ambili and a child. The injured has been admitted at the Kottayam Medical College Hospital. The accident happened while they were returning after offering prayers at Thiruvairanikulam Mahadeva Temple. The bodies are kept at the private hospital in Monippally.
