Car loses control, crashes into divider; 19-year-old killed, three injured

NOIDA: A 19-year-old girl died in a tragic accident after a Jaguar car lost control and crashed into a road divider. The deceased has been identified as Falak Ahmed (19). The accident occurred early this morning on the Noida-Greater Noida Elevated Road. Three others travelling in the car sustained serious injuries. The injured have been identified as Ansh (19), Ayush Bhati (17), and Neel Panwar (18). They are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

The accident happened when the car tried to overtake a truck moving ahead, during which the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car got crushed between the truck and the road divider. Due to the impact, the driver’s seat area of the car was completely damaged. All four occupants were rushed to a nearby hospital immediately after the accident, but Falak Ahmed could not be saved. Doctors said the other three are out of danger.

It is not yet clear who was driving the car at the time of the accident. Police said efforts are underway to trace the truck driver, who fled the scene soon after the incident.
