Well construction worker's daughter's death; 16-year-old girl's suicide due to sorrow from Korean friend's demise; suicide note found 

KOCHI: Police have recovered the suicide note of the 16-year-old girl who was found dead in a rock quarry. The letter says that she has received information that her Korean friend has died and that she is unable to bear the pain of this. However, police sources said that what happened will be clear only after checking the girl's phone.

The girl's body was found in a disused rock quarry near her house. The girl had gone to school this morning. She is a Plus One student.

The body was first seen by the girl's relative, an auto driver. While passing by the rock quarry, he saw the girl's school bag lying abandoned. When the auto driver checked it out after becoming suspicious, he found the girl's body floating in the water in the quarry. The locals and the police were informed later.

The Chottanikkara police have confirmed that they have received a four-page suicide note. It contains information about the death of the Korean friend. The girl's phone needs to be unlocked. The police are hoping to get more information from the phone. The girl's relatives say that they only know what the police told them about the suicide note. The girl left home at around 7.45 am to go to school. She is the only daughter of a well construction worker.
