KANNUR: C Kunhikrishnan, who was expelled from the party, has launched harsh criticisms against CPM leaders in his book. The book says CPM leaders have turned beneficiaries of crony capitalism. It also says that the party leadership shamelessly uses organizational principles to protect criminals. The book further states that Payyannur MLA T I Madhusoodanan follows the style of a bourgeois political leader.
The book will be released next Wednesday. The book, titled ‘Nethruthathe Anikal Thiruthanam’, primarily deals with financial irregularities, including the martyr’s fund scam, along with detailed accounts. Along with this, the book sharply criticizes the party leadership. It claims that the state leadership has succeeded in stripping the CPI (M) of its communist character and turning it into an ordinary electoral party. The leaders have become the beneficiaries of crony capitalism. The book says that one could even prepare a thesis by studying them.
The 96-page book having 16 chapters severely criticizes the Payyannur MLA. It also says that the MLA harbors vendettas against opponents until death. If the party in Payyannur wants to improve, T I Madhusoodanan must improve first. Madhusoodanan has a bourgeois political style that creates dependents, asserting I’m the party and insisting that only his word should prevail.
Despite being humiliated and despite attempts to move forward together, the district leadership was unwilling to understand the real reasons behind factionalism in Payyannur. The leadership often reminds the cadres that is their responsibility to protect the party. Believing this to be sincere, he says he pointed out the mistakes. However, his experiences taught him that cadres are expected to remain silent even when leaders commit errors, he clarified this in his book.
The chapter ends with the title ‘Party Pravarthanathinte Andhyam'. At the end, the book is dedicated to the blazing memory of comrade V S Achuthanandan, who courageously fought against injustices within the party and in the society.
