Woman found dead in lodge; man with her commits suicide

KANNUR: The police said the incident of finding a woman dead in a lodge in Parassinikadavu, is a murder. The dead has been identified as K V Seema (50) of Cherukunnu Ayyoth. Initial reports say that she was strangled to death. K P Vijayan of Cherukunnu, who was staying with her in the lodge, was later found hanging near a riverside area at Jacintha Kadavu in Mattul. Vijayan was Seema's neighbor.

Seema was found dead at 9 pm last night in room number 602 of the lodge. Vijayan was soon found missing. He was later found hanging in an investigation conducted. The Taliparamba police have started an investigation.
