Twin brothers constantly sending obscene messages; cyber harassment continues despite issuing warnings, says actress

Actress and dubbing artist Raveena Ravi has spoken out about the cyber harassment she and her family have been facing for the past three years. She revealed that a man named Sabarish from Chennai and his brother have been repeatedly targeting her, her friends, and her family through online abuse.

In an Instagram post, Raveena stated the two have been harassing her for the past three years by sending obscene messages and posting offensive comments on her page. She has also shared screenshots of these messages as evidence. She stated that the harassment has continued despite issuing legal warnings. According to her, the cyber attacks are being carried out through several fake social media accounts.

She also said that the same individuals have been stalking and harassing other actresses as well. Raveena alleged that they spread false stories claiming they had known her personally or that a marriage had been fixed with her, in an attempt to mislead the public. Raveena said she was able to report and delete those comments, but has now realised that remaining silent is no longer an option. She decided to speak out to raise awareness about the issue.

'I am posting this to protect my family, my friends, and myself from a stalker who has been harassing us for three years. I've stayed quiet, hoping that police complaints and warnings would stop this. Unfortunately, a person named Sabarish and his twin brother continue to harass me, my family, and my friends. They use disgusting language in messages and comments, targeting not just me but also those close to me. I am deeply sorry to my friends and family who have had to deal with this because of me. We have tried the legal route, but the harassment hasn’t stopped.

Apparently, he operates from multitudes of accounts and finds ways to stalk and harass not just me, but various other women actors and practitioners, establishing made-up scenarios of having "already met", "fixed marriage"
