Heart attack on flight to Europe: 24-year-old Malayali youth dies in Oman

PARAVUR: A passenger died of a heart attack on an aircraft while flying to Europe. The deceased was Mebin Tommy (24) of Thuruthur, Puthenvelikkara, who works in Slovenia. He is the son of Tommy Vincent and Mary Nimmi and brother of Mary Meenu.

The incident occurred when Mebin was returning to Slovenia on the 23rd after visiting home for vacation. The flight to Slovenia was from Kochi via Oman. Mebin suffered a heart attack when the plane took off from Oman. The plane was urgently diverted, and Mebin was taken to a hospital in Oman, but he could not be saved. The body will be brought to Kochi at 7 am tomorrow. The funeral will be held at 4.30 pm tomorrow at the St. Thomas Sinai Mount Church Cemetery, Thuruthoor.
