Seven killed in two separate accidents in capital city and Kozhikode

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Seven people have been killed in accidents that occurred in two districts of the state. Three lost their lives in a bike accident that happened at Karamana in Thiruvananthapuram Saturday morning at 1.30 am. The accident occurred after the bike hit the footpath. The dead were Pranav and Sajin, natives of Neyyattinkara and Rwithik, a migrant. All three were employees of a hotel. The incident occurred while they were returning from work. The police believe that the accident may have happened after they lost control of the bike.

A car and a lorry collided at Nallalam Modern Bazaar in Kozhikode. Four people died in the accident. The incident occurred early this morning at around 3:45 am. There were five people in the car. It is reported that the natives of Ramanattukara were returning from work. The fire force arrived and took the people out of the car after cutting the vehicle. Though they were taken to the hospital, the lives of four could not be saved. Vinil, Ajeesh, Vimal and Shyamlal are the four dead. It is reported that the accident occurred after the lorry rammed onto the car.
