JERUSALEM: Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, in an optimistic tone, claimed receiving inputs of Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei's death. Netanyahu asked Iranians to take to the streets and finish the job.
Netanyahu said that all possible places suspected of hiding the supreme leader were destroyed, and there was no chance the Ayatollah survived this airstrike. The doubts aggravated after the promise kept by Iranian television to air a video message from Khamenei failed, even late into Saturday night.
The joint operation was carried out by Israel and US, in a bid to overthrow the regime and make sure Iran dissociate themselves from developing nuclear weapons.
